The Counseling Center at Bethel provides counseling and life coaching as a ministry of Bethel...The Church @ Franklin Mills and exists to help adults who are struggling with personal life skills, interpersonal relationships, personal loss, and/or their relationship with God and to help them resolve those issues so that they can move forward in a God-honoring way.
OUR CORE VALUES
The Church has a responsibiblity to care for people in need (Matthew 25:31-46; James 2:15-16; 1 John 3:17).
Human counsel can be helpful but has limited value. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and it contains everything we need to live a life that is pleasing to Him. We also believe that the Bible is totally sufficient to instruct us in how to live our lives and how to deal with all of life's challenges. Therefore, the Bible is at the center of our Counseling Ministry and is the ultimate source of knowledge in counseling.
People are unique creations of God, possesing value and worth. Since people matter to God, they matter to us. We treat people with respect and dignity, and while we counsel according to the principles of God's Word, we do not force our beliefs on anyone.
Information revealed by clients is held in the strictest confidence according to the terms of the Confidentiality Agreement signed by each client.
